The idea of the Songwriter Circle is to play an original song and get feedback from the circle. Please bring enough lyrics sheets for everyone (you'll get them back with our comments). Lyricists and composers are also welcome and may find someone to collaborate with. (Photo is from a concert collaboration between Christine Grimm & Ben Inteso).

There are only 4 spaces at the Vibratuning Practice in Zurich Wipkingen, so you should register at least 24 hours in advance to reserve your seat. The cost is CHF 20, to be paid through Twint or Paypal (or bank transfer). Also let me know if you're interested in a Saturday or Sunday (5 -hour) Songwriting Workshop.

If there are not at least 2 people registered in advance, the event will be cancelled and you'll get a refund. So please "RSVP" here to show that you're going and then write vibratuning@gmail.com to register. Your choice of tea is provided, but you're welcome to bring a snack to share at the break.

This is for people who write as therapy or creative expression to performing songwriters to seasoned pros with hits on the charts. The only rule is to be supportive and respectful of other people's songs. Feedback should always start with comments about the positive aspects of the song. Please bring 1-2 songs to share with the group and lyric sheets (with a large font) for everyone if you want feedback on lyrics. We'll go around the circle and each present one song, take a break to socialize/network, and then go around the circle again (if there's time since the event ends at 8pm). Live is best, so bring your instrument (small guitar and keyboard are available) - but you can also bring a CD or some other form of media. Please do not bring recording equipment since this is not intended as a performance. The songs are sometimes still a "diamond in the rough." More info at www.vibratuning.com. p.s. If you would like a reduced rate, please contact me about helping with setting up/cleaning up. I can only offer this if two other people are paying the regular rate since - as you know - rents are expensive in Zurich!
